Amazon consultant Brett Lemker explains why accurate product details and clear answers deserve more attention than another round of AI-generated copy.
BOULDER, CO, UNITED STATES, October 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Ajarro, LLC is advising Amazon brands to review the accuracy and completeness of their product information as AI plays a larger role in how shoppers compare products and decide what to buy.
Amazon’s Alexa for Shopping, formerly Rufus, allows customers to ask questions and compare options in a conversation. For brands, that makes familiar catalog problems harder to dismiss as routine housekeeping: conflicting dimensions, unclear compatibility, missing specifications and images that do not match the product being sold.
Brett Lemker, founder of Ajarro and an Amazon consultant with 20 years of Amazon and e-commerce experience, believes the response should begin with the product itself, not a promise to write more content.
A shopper deciding whether an accessory fits a particular model needs a reliable answer. A customer comparing a single item with a multipack needs to know exactly what is included. A business buying equipment needs to understand its intended use and limitations. Fluent copy is not a substitute for those facts.
Find the contradictions first:
Ajarro recommends checking the information a customer encounters across the title, structured attributes, bullet points, images, A+ content and the brand’s own website. The objective is to find gaps and disagreements before producing another version of the listing.
That review should address the details that can change a purchase decision: size, material, quantity, compatibility, included components and any conditions attached to a product claim.
A listing that describes a two-pack while an image shows one item creates an avoidable question. A size chart that belongs to a different variation can send a customer toward the wrong purchase. Adding more descriptive language does not resolve either problem.
Answer the questions that affect the sale:
Ajarro advises brands to use customer questions, return reasons and support conversations to identify what their listings fail to explain. Those sources can reveal practical concerns that a keyword list misses.
The work is not to turn every question into another paragraph. It is to give the customer a clear, supportable answer in the appropriate place and make sure the answer remains consistent across the catalog.
For complex products, that may mean explaining which components work together. For bundles, it means stating what is included and what must be purchased separately. Where claims involve testing, certification or performance, the wording should remain within the evidence the brand can provide.
AI-generated content still needs an owner:
Amazon states that sellers remain responsible for reviewing AI-proposed listing content and ensuring that it accurately represents their products and complies with applicable requirements.
Ajarro recommends assigning responsibility for that review rather than treating generated copy as ready to publish. Someone who understands the product should approve the facts. Someone who understands the Amazon account should check how the changes affect variations, attributes and existing content.
Lemker’s background includes brand-side Amazon work, Seller Central training and agency leadership. His consulting approach brings that operating experience to the less visible work behind a usable listing: resolving catalog problems, tracing conflicting information and making sure changes address the actual issue.
No consultant can guarantee that a particular edit will earn a recommendation from an AI shopping assistant. Ajarro’s advice is to focus on what the brand can control: accurate information, supported claims and fewer unanswered questions between the customer and a purchase.
