Coldtill Launches Self-Hosted Crypto Payment Gateway for Online Merchants

Coldtill has launched a self-hosted, non-custodial cryptocurrency payment gateway that enables businesses to accept 200+ cryptocurrencies across 35+ blockchains while maintaining full control over their funds. Designed for merchants, SaaS companies, and developers, it offers seamless crypto payments, automatic stablecoin conversion, API integration, and secure wallet-to-wallet transactions without relying on a third-party payment processor.

Software lets businesses accept more than 200 coins across 35+ blockchains on their own servers, with payments forwarded to a wallet the merchant controls

ST PETER PORT, Guernsey, October 23, 2026 – Coldtill today released a self-hosted cryptocurrency payment gateway that lets merchants and developers accept digital-asset payments on their own server. Customer payments are sent to deposit addresses that are configured to forward funds only to a wallet the merchant specifies.

According to the company, Coldtill does not hold merchant funds, private keys or customer data. Businesses download the software and install it on a Linux server running Docker. Coldtill does not operate an account-approval process for the software. Merchants remain responsible for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to their business.

The gateway supports more than 200 coins across 35+ blockchains, including Bitcoin and major stablecoins. Merchants can turn on optional automatic conversion, so that customers pay in the token of their choice while the merchant receives USDC or USDT in their own wallet. [Name the conversion provider or mechanism.] Coldtill credits an order only after the merchant’s own nodes confirm that the funds have arrived.

Each deposit address is configured to forward funds only to the wallet the merchant sets. The software has no licence server or remote shutdown function, so checkout does not depend on Coldtill’s website being online. Self-hosted software is only as secure as the server it runs on, and merchants are responsible for securing their own infrastructure and wallets.

For developers, Coldtill provides a REST API, webhooks for payment events and a TypeScript SDK. It also includes a hosted checkout page and a dashboard for tracking incoming payments. A WooCommerce plugin for WordPress stores is open source under the MIT licence and available on GitHub.

Merchants who accept crypto have generally had to choose between a hosted processor that holds their funds and software they assemble themselves,” said Rollo Unden, founder of Coldtill. Coldtill is designed to let a merchant run their own checkout and keep funds in their own wallet.
